FLC TV - March 4 Sermon: Getting the Log Out
Colossians 3:1-4: Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
The 2015 Women's Retreat will be held April 10 & 11 beginning on Friday evening at 6 p.m. and lasting until Saturday afternoon 4 p.m. The full two-day stay includes Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch as well as a cozy bed but there is a lower priced option for those attending only on Saturday with lunch provided. The retreat will be held in the NEW facility at Yellowstone Alliance Adventures Please bring your Bible. Facility is fully handicap-accessible. We encourage car-pooling. Please bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel, & toiletries. Please make checks payable to First Lutheran Church; memo: Women’s retreat. 1 Corinthians 10:31-33: So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God — even as I try to please everyone in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.
